Forever Falling

Remembering your smile, which is in the past,
Memories keep fludding back,
My composure for this I do lack,

Everything is in a slow motion,
I really can not stand all this commotion,
The wind pushes past me without a care,
This happiness I found with you I have found to be rare,

You left me with out a word and sad eyes,
There were no last goodbyes,
Blackness right now is all I see,
I thought all this could never be,

I wish these memories would go away,
For I do not wish to remember them now or any other day,
Things are better left behind and unsaid,
For some reason it is not for it stays in my head,

Falling and never hitting ground,
For me there is no sound,
I will never be found, for that is untrue,
And your memories I seem to be bound to,

One thing that I can notice that will stop never,
Is that I am falling in blackness forever.

Birdhouses

As sleepy heads wake in the morning
As darkness turns back into light
Sunshine brings another beautiful day
Thats when birds take to their flight

As I walk outside to greet the morn
I hear the chirping sounds they make
The tunes are absolutely beautiful
As they begin to sing down by the lake

It's great to know that God
Gave them the opportunity to whistle
Even through the rain that falls
Even when the sun must sizzle

The melody seems to make life so refreshing
It makes for such a joyful afternoon
Sitting watching the birds make their way
From birdhouses to the bloom

Rejection isn't pretty
It hurts you through, and through.
It breaks your heart and twists your soul,
It alters everything you do!

And then you have to wonder,
Was friendship really there?
Because the way you're being treated,
Isn't very fair!

How can someone who claimed to love you
Just turn and walk away?
They break your heart and you withdraw,
Your love they tossed away.

So brick by brick you build your wall
To keep you safe and sound.
And when it's finished you stay behind it,
In the safty you have found.

Now Jesus is the only one you trust,
But now, He doesn't want me for a sunbeam.
You know His words are true.
But still you wonder why they left,
And what they meant to you.

...Babies Cry More

"How's it going Mom?"

"It's a dog eat dog world, dear",
and I'm wearing Milk Bone underwear."

That's a greeting from Norm on the TV show Cheers.

All of us have one of those days.
Some of us have one of those seasons.
Some even have one of those lives.

It feels like the world is chewing on us.

It isn't, it just feels that way.

I have long realized that life isn't really what it is,
it's what we think it is based on relative things and our
knowledge level.

If you have traveled extensively, you know that in many parts of
the world just clean drinking water is a rarity.

We flush with clean drinking water.

So many of us have so much when you compare it. Those of you
that are reading this have access to the net, email, and a computer.
You can see and you are not reading this from a hospital.

We have so much yet there is an innate tendency to complain.
I tried to think of the easiest point in our lives to see if we
complained then.

Babies have perhaps the easiest life around.
Babies don't have to go to the toilet because mama changes their
diapers. Mama breast feeds them, or gives them a bottle, rocks
them to sleep, and lets them sleep as much as they want.

Babies go the bed when they want.
Babies wake up when they want.

Babies don't have to work.
Babies don't have to deal with bills or bosses.
Babies don't worry if their thighs have gotten too fat or if
their hair is receding.

It's as easy as it gets.

With all of that,
babies cry more.

Babies cry more, with all of that.

Maybe it's not circumstances, but the closer we are to babies
(regardless of circumstances) the more we cry and complain.
I shall leave you with that thought.
